Israel is a key player in the Scriptures, and if you're wrong about Israel, you're wrong about the Word of God. In our passage today, the apostle Paul answers the question that logically proceeds from what he said at the end of the previous chapter, which is whether God has rejected his people, Israel, because they had rejected Christ. And Paul's answer is, "God forbid." At stake is whether God can be trusted to keep His unconditional promises to that nation. But the first thing we need to know is that God has not rejected His people, and in this message we are looking at how we know this to be true.
