Bible Text: Revelation 11:1-19 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Revelation: Behold He Comes! In this continuing parenthetical passage of Scripture, we have a break in the action during this time of Tribulation while God takes care of some heavenly business. I just want to remind you about two facts tonight as we look at this passage. First, we are on Jewish ground. The terms used and the scenes described here are Jewish in nature and have nothing whatsoever to do with the Church. Second, this is a future event, not a contemporary event. Any other interpretation destroys the meaning and the purpose of the text. What we learn tonight is that there will be a tribulation temple and then we learn about God's two witnesses.
Bible Text: Revelation 7:9-17 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Revelation: Behold He Comes! Revelation Chapter 7 gives us a glimpse of the grace of God at work during this horrible time on Earth known as the Great Tribulation. Last week, we saw God seal 144,000 Jewish male virgins, 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes that are mentioned in verses 5-8 of this chapter. These witnesses will win an innumerable number of souls for Christ from every nation, kindred, people, and language. And, folks, the salvation of sinners is the heartbeat of God, and this can be seen in our text for tonight.
Bible Text: Revelation 6:9-17 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Revelation: Behold He Comes! Tonight, as we continue our verse-by-verse study of the book of Revelation, we are going to see an unusual dynamic at work as we look at seals five and six, that is, the prayers of the Tribulation saints in Heaven and of the Tribulation sinners on Earth.
