Bible Text: Revelation 14:1-5 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Revelation: Behold He Comes! Revelation 12 and 13 have been somewhat dark and depressing, talking about Satan, his hatred of God and God's people and the demonic duo who are the Antichrist and the False Prophet. Now, in Chapter 14, the scene changes. It's like a beautiful rainbow after a violent storm. God gives us a fresh breath of heavenly air and a glimpse of the Lamb and the 144,000 witnesses who stand with Him.
Bible Text: Revelation 11:1-19 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Revelation: Behold He Comes! In this continuing parenthetical passage of Scripture, we have a break in the action during this time of Tribulation while God takes care of some heavenly business. I just want to remind you about two facts tonight as we look at this passage. First, we are on Jewish ground. The terms used and the scenes described here are Jewish in nature and have nothing whatsoever to do with the Church. Second, this is a future event, not a contemporary event. Any other interpretation destroys the meaning and the purpose of the text. What we learn tonight is that there will be a tribulation temple and then we learn about God's two witnesses.
