The Great Commandment

April 20, 2016
Bible Text: Matthew 22:34-40 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford I came across a testimony that Ravi Zacharias gave concerning a man who was an interpreter in Vietnam around 1971. It's a remarkable testimony of God's grace and love and of a man's love for the Lord. It's really convicting. Do we love the Word of God as much as Hien did? Tonight we're going to consider a few things about the Lord's Great Commandment.
Bible Text: Romans 9:1-5 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Romans: The Gospel of God's Grace Are you burdened for the lost? I chose the word "burdened" because I think there's a difference between a concern and a burden. I would venture to say that if you're a believer in this house you're concerned about the lost. If you're not concerned about those who are on their way to Hell, you really need to question whether you know the Lord.  But a burden is different; it's an all-consuming passion, something you can't escape; it's with you all the time, and this is what the apostle Paul experienced. So, this morning, we are looking at the burden that Paul had for lost people.
