Two Kinds of Branches

Bible Text: Romans 11:13-25 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Romans: The Gospel of God's Grace Even just 75 years ago, talking about the nation of Israel would have made no sense to anyone because that nation did not exist. However, in 1948, the nation of Israel was established, and this was in fulfillment of Scripture. What some people thought impossible and unbelievable took place then. Since then, God has been planting the Jews back in their own land never to be uprooted again. God is doing something in Israel and we need to pay attention to it. As we see in our text today, the apostle Paul has been appointed by God to help Israel be jealous to gain God's favor again. So, today, I want us to examine what this passage is talking about.

God’s Chosen Few

Bible Text: Romans 11:1-12 | Preacher: Dr. George A. Mulford | Series: Romans: The Gospel of God's Grace Israel is a key player in the Scriptures, and if you're wrong about Israel, you're wrong about the Word of God. In our passage today, the apostle Paul answers the question that logically proceeds from what he said at the end of the previous chapter, which is whether God has rejected his people, Israel, because they had rejected Christ. And Paul's answer is, "God forbid." At stake is whether God can be trusted to keep His unconditional promises to that nation.  But the first thing we need to know is that God has not rejected His people, and in this message we are looking at how we know this to be true.
