Triumphant in Trials
Faith and works... or belief and behavior... are inseparable, Like two sides of a coin, one cannot exist without the other. The book of James was written to Jews, so it is expected that his exhortations were likely to be read wherever Jews were gathered. Half of James' material comprises imperatives that may seem harsh at times but were meant to help, not to hurt. As we will see in this new series, the book of James is probably never more significant than in our present day.
