The Judgment of Babylon – Part One
Since the dawn of time, man has been in the business of trying to get by without God. Our text tonight describes the destruction of Babylon. Babylon is a city but it is also a system, a world system opposed to God. Babylon represents everything mankind has accomplished apart from God, and this system is judged in the seventh bowl judgment. So what we see in Chapters 17 and 18 give us details of the destruction of Babylon, and tonight we are talking about Babylon as a one-world religious system.
